On Friday, Feb. 21, former Madison High School standout Tyler Shannon’s current college team, the Hartford Hawks, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Methodist Monarchs.

The game took place at Armstrong-Shelley Field. This was their first matchup against the Monarchs this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at Armstrong-Shelley Field against Hanover Panthers.
