Jay Webber, a member of the New Jersey General Assembly representing the 26th legislative district, recently used his social media platform to recognize local officials and commemorate a notable figure.

On January 6, 2026, Webber congratulated members of the Wanaque Council in New Jersey. In his post, he stated: “#WanaqueNJ is surely in good hands. Congratulations to my friends Dominick Cortellessa & Ed Leonard on being sworn-in (again) to the Wanaque Council. #LD26”

The following day, January 7, 2026, Webber shared his participation in an official ceremony in Ringwood: “Great to be in beautiful #RingwoodNJ to swear-in Mayor Jaime Landis & Councilman @auteri_frank. Congratulations & best wishes to Deputy Mayor Michelle Kerr, Sean Noonan & Paul Rubacky on another successful term. #LD26”

Later that same day, Webber expressed condolences over the passing of Michael Reagan: “Mourning the loss of Michael Reagan. Michael Reagan made NJ Reagan Day 2011 a great one. Michael shared his (and his father’s) trademark optimism & humor, and generously stayed until every guest got a visit & photo w/him. #MissedAlready @yaf @TheReaganRanch”

Jay Webber has served as an assemblyman for New Jersey’s 26th legislative district since 2008 and is known for engaging with local communities and public events.
