Millbrook Avenue will be closed between Quaker Church Road and South Morris Street in the Township of Randolph for a gas main installation project beginning April 6. The closure is expected to last until early July, with work scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting.

The roadwork is part of a gas system upgrade being carried out by Gray Supply under contract with New Jersey Natural Gas. The roadway will reopen at the end of each workday, allowing normal traffic flow outside construction hours.

Local law enforcement will permit limited access through the work zone for residents, school buses, sanitation vehicles, and other essential services during construction hours. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling in the area, follow posted detours, allow extra travel time, and consider alternate routes.

Questions or concerns about the project can be directed to the Morris County Division of Engineering and Transportation at 973-285-6750.
