Cost of college went up for all students at Artistic Academy of Hair Design

Tuition and fees rose 2.3 percent for 2018-19 at Artistic Academy of Hair Design, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New Jersey students paid $15,960 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $360 more than the $15,600 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 95 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 38 students received grants or scholarships totaling $169,396 and 35 students took out student loans totaling more than $196,935.

Including all undergraduates (137), 100 students used grants or scholarships totaling $432,974, and 77 students took out $437,851 in federal student loans.
