Cost of college went down for all students at Drew University

Tuition and fees fell 19.5 percent for 2018-19 at Drew University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New Jersey students paid $39,800 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $9,668 less than the $49,468 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 365 students received grants or scholarships totaling $13.4 million and 255 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.4 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,263), 1,334 students used grants or scholarships totaling $47 million, and 823 students took out $5.6 million in federal student loans.
