Happy #feelgoodfriday! After over 4 years of working toward her housing goals, FP Guest Katie moved into her very own home! Check out her story below.
When FP Guest Katie came to Our Promise Drop-In Center in 2018, she had been experiencing homelessness for the first time.
While continuously working toward her goals, in 2021, Katie completed an Emergency Housing Voucher application with her case manager, which was approved soon after!
With the help of our Landlord Support Program team, Katie started her housing search. To her excitement, Katie's nearly 5 year journey home came to an end on December 1, 2022 when she moved into her new home in time for the holidays.
Congrats to Katie, and thank you to our amazing staff for helping her reach her housing goals!
