The Morris County Park Commission has announced a new partnership with the Entertainment Football Association (ENTFLA) for the 2025 season. This collaboration will bring professional indoor football and live concerts to Mennen Arena in Morristown.

Morristown's team, "The New Jersey Ciphers," will play its first home game on June 21 at Mennen Arena. Dave Helmer, Executive Director of the Morris County Park Commission, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "This partnership is an incredible opportunity for Morris County residents to experience high-energy football and top-tier entertainment right here at Mennen Arena."

The ENTFLA's inaugural season will feature four teams from Morristown, Danbury, Fitchburg, and Long Island. Each team will host four home games. The league kicks off on June 6 with a game between the Heroes and the New Jersey Ciphers in Fitchburg.

The season will span nine weeks with 19 games, concluding with playoffs in early August and the championship game on August 16. The league's format includes a fast-paced 7-on-7 style without huddles or kicking, emphasizing fourth-down conversions and two-point plays.

ENTFLA aims to highlight players from Division I and III colleges who seek exposure to higher leagues like the CFL, UFL, and NFL. Beyond football, fans can enjoy pre-game tailgating, halftime shows, post-game autograph sessions, and performances by nationally recognized musical acts.

The announcement follows a press conference held on June 13, 2024. Andre Reed, ENTFLA Commissioner and Pro Football Hall of Famer, confirmed Mennen Arena as the home field for Morristown's team during this event. The team's name was revealed on December 3, 2024.

Broadcasting agreements are being finalized by ENTFLA. Details about Long Island's team name and logo will be shared on February 21. More information is available at GoENTFLA.com.
