Beginning March 3, West Main Street in Rockaway will experience partial closures on weeknights due to utility work. The affected section of the road is between Nichols Drive and Mt. Pleasant Avenue. This project is part of ongoing site development at 216 West Main Street.

The RPM Development Group oversees the project, with Harrington & Sons Construction Company carrying out the work. The construction is scheduled from March 3 to March 14, operating from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Detours will be established for both southbound and northbound traffic on West Main Street. Residents will have access where possible, ensuring safe passage through the area under construction. Provisions are in place for postal services, waste collection, emergency services, and medical transport.
