Posted @withregram • @drew.art.department Don't forget to stop by the Korn Gallery to experience alumna Sylvie Harris's beautiful show. Labor, curated by Rory Mulligan, runs from March 16 - April 14. An artist talk will be happening in ARTS 102 on March 31 @ 12:30!!

 And a reception will follow in the Korn Gallery from 5 - 6:30. Looking forward to seeing you there --A little bit about the artist... 

Sylvie Harris's work celebrates domesticity while also addressing the challenges of societal expectations within the patriarchy. Harris graduated in 2022 with an MFA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago and received her BA in Studio Art and Art History from Drew University in 2015. She was also a Curatorial Assistant at the Museum of Contemporary Photography and the recipient of the 2021 Stuart Abelson Graduate Research Fellowship in Krakow, Poland. Recent solo exhibitions of her work have been shown at Swartley Gallery in Englewood, NJ and The Arcade in Chicago, IL. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.--Korn Gallery Hours: Wednesday-Saturday 12-4 pm and by appointment
