The MCPC’s annual deer management program has begun in a number of parks.
Parks remain open during the bow hunting program but park users are reminded to stay on trails.
For a full list of parks and schedules please see our website. Deer management is an important tool to minimize the severe threats posed to the biodiversity of native flora and fauna by overabundant deer populations.
We are thankful for the efforts of the hunters who participate.
