If conditions allow, the NJ Forest Fire Service will be conducting a prescribed burn at Berkshire Valley Golf Course in Jefferson today (2/8/23).

The course is closed to the public but if you see smoke coming from the course there is no need to report it.  This burn will help in the vegetation management goals of the course in addition to reducing the risk of an uncontrolled wildfire.
